Her Language

She cries when she’s alone,

But doesn’t do anything,

To not end up alone.

She cries when people yell at her,

But she ends up taking out that anger,

On other people.

She’s always there,

For everyone,

And she makes it clear,

That she is,

But for some reason,

No one is there when she needs anyone,

Anyone at all.

Her love language is gift giving,

So she spends all her money on others,

With no guarantee,

That the others,

Are going to show her,

Their love,

In any way at all.

Her love language is physical touch,

But she hates when people touch her,

She’s always hated when people touched her,

But she wouldn’t be able to live,

If those certain people,

Stopped expressing love,

Through physical touch.

Her love language is words of affirmation,

But she is incapable of accepting a compliment,

Because compliments were never meant for her,

But for the ones around her,

And this has made her unable to say,

Anything at all,

That shows her love for another.

All these things,

Take so much energy,

Some wont understand love is shown,

While others will take it,

Way to seriously,

Some people crave attention,

That she isn’t able to give,

Because she doesn’t know how.

If she loves you,

She’ll show you new songs,

Jump up and down with excitement,

And tell you what it is that she is excited about,

She’ll buy you the food and snacks you like,

When she knows she’s going to see you,

Because she knows you.

She’ll ask if you need a hug,

And if you say no,

She’ll ask if she can get one anyways,

Because it’s her way of saying,

She needs a hug,

A long hug,

Where she feels held,

Safe,

And happy.

She’ll ask you how you are,

And say that you don’t have to tell her what’s going on,

But you have to tell her if you aren’t okay,

That way,

She can figure out how to cheer you up,

And make you feel better,

Than you already do.

She’ll share her favorite food and drink with you,

Even though she hates sharing food,

Food is her safe place,

And letting others know that it is,

Is considered a weakness to her,

No one can know what the safe places are,

It will ruin her,

If someone knows.

So she shares,

And hopes to see a smile on your face,

As that is what recharges her battery.

It’s the smile on your face.
