Quickly hiding under the safe blanket
We, kids try to escape, the monsters under our bed
Thinking they will attack us anytime
As time goes by, we grow up,
Realising, the monsters under our bed are infact in our head.
Wishing for them to go away, but they keep clinging to our soul,
Trapping us with their darkness.
Trying to escape under the blanket,
But noticing the monsters dont go away
The safe haven gone, invaded by the beasts inside
These voices exploding my head
Filling me with distress.
Waking up in the morning,
With these intrusive voices blurring my vision
Worry and stress clouding my judgement
Wishing for them to shut up
During the day these voices keep plaguing my head
Hour after hour spent avoiding these pests
Struggling to maintain sane
These gruesome whispers never end
Then finally nightime arrives
Hoping to fall into dreamland away from it all
But to my luck,
These demons keep raging inside dreamland
