Night drive

Spectacular rain drops

In dew of neon yellow lights

The strain in the observing eyes now tops,

Curiosity bedridden by illness of

A lazy mind. If we stop squinting,

Will it be possible to find? – a pattern?

Annoyances of every day subside,

Since night will gently come again,

After tonight.

So must we really give a rest to the idea of

Us going forward without movement, just

Through the power of our own eyes? Or

Can we look, and watch, and listen? Is it

Within our rights? Perhaps,

The only reason not to do so is glistening

Before us in this very moment – fright.

Doubts of necessity to in our thoughts be

free, solely due to the fear of losing our

Freedom.
